I've been shooting professionally for more than 20 years - as a newspaper journalist for 10, as a wedding, portrait, and event photojournalist for 15, and as an "art" photographer throughout.
 
My goal as a photographer is to document and preserve the essense of the day. In particular, I want to create images that evoke the past rather than define it.
 
My extensive background in the field gives me a broad, flexible perspective resulting in photographs that are warm, textured, compelling and authentic with a wide emotional range and strong aesthetic sense.
 
I offer unobtrusive, observant coverage with an emphasis on artistic, candid, documentarian work; respectful, elegant, relaxed family "formals", and portraiture that is beautiful and interesting.
